1. CES Plasma Profile
Energy and Environment Lab. (EEL) was established by the group of professors from Mechanical, Environmental and Biological field in HCM University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). The aims of EEL are designing and manufacturing automotive machines to ensure social environment. Prestige, responsibility and service style of EEL will bring the best research products to serve our customers. EEL are pioneer in study and application of plasma dynamic technology-a green technology in wastewater, drinking water, release gas, sterilizing air, and surface treatment and is gradually become the sustainable development Lab. Our motto is CES; Creativity, Environment and Service, we always listen to customer opinions, advice caring and sharing experience working with customers.
2. Plasma treatment method
Treatment mechanism of cold plasma system is based on the dynamics of electrons, ions and advanced oxidation process. In plasma reactor, the ionic bonds, covalent linking of organic and inorganic compounds is broken and destroys by UV rays and free radicals. Moreover, electrons move with high velocity will bump into molecules to disrupt the electron, ion link and increase surface energy. The coating material also was injected to make a nano layer on surface with chemical connection. By these processes, treated objectives are clean, active and coated. The following are some product of EEL.
3. Production
Wastewater treatment machine: The wastewater from hospital and Textile Company has been strongly negative affected to human life in large area. The disadvantages of the currently treatment system are low treatment efficiency, costly and unstable due to using microbiological, biochemistry, combining physics and chemistry method, or advanced oxidation process. The treatment wastewater machine using plasma at atmospheric pressure as shown in figure 1 can solve the above disadvantages. The treated wastewater reaches to B-QCVN 28:2010 standards. This method also is used for treatment drinking water as show in Fig. 2.
Air sterilizing machine: As the same wastewater, air pollution by microorganisms at hospital, schools, public area and industrial packing food is urgent problems and difficult to solve, affect human health and against food preservation. The air sterilizing machine using cold plasma at atmospheric pressure can solve above problem. The sterilization efficiency is about 87% and the all treated room reach to level B in standard clean room under GMP.
Nano coating machine: Surface treatments currently method such as cleaning, increasing absorption and coating does not meet the quality requirements because of using chemical, complexity, high costs and pollute environment. To solve the above drawbacks, the coating machines by cold plasma as shown in figure 3 were developed. In the plasma, surface is clean, high energy and coating a nano layer. Successfully applied coating fabric is waterproof and anti-bacterial coating.
